Now, how do you play these chords? I've seen some clips of him playing it solo, and they don't sound or look like "regular" chords.

Bufflo,

You just strum these chords, they arent' what's being played in the video, it's more a rhythm for the guitar, Keith Urban is playing Lead. I would use a combination of palm muted quick downstrokes with a couple of upstrums muted in the verses and full strums in the chorus sections and see how that sounds. If you play around with it you should find something that works for you.

Good job. I prefer a regular Em, but good job. I love acoustic versions because that's what I play.

Keith plays the acoustic version in drop D so that might be why some of the chords look a little different on the youtube video.

the chords are D, G, Emi..A.the thing is his bass E string is down to D note so when you play G (from bottom) are 030005 Emi is 000022
for his live acoustic cover with capo 1st fret
